By 1915, Chanel had opened a fashion house since she had experienced a remarkable growth and still continued with clothing manufacturing. Chanel No 5 perfume still stand out to be the most celebrated creation of hers to date and in 1924, she expanded the business to feature costume jewelry line and this change rocketed the companies good performance higher than ever. Just like it is expected of designer jewelry, Chanel’s original pieces are too expensive to be afforded by ordinary people lately since the expertise depicted on them is quite rare while the resources used to manufacture it is luxurious also. As a result ladies might still want to wear the exquisite Chanel earrings for instance but pieces they find on the jewelry dealer’s shops is the discounted variety. This should not worry them though because as much as there are many faux jewels today or the replicas, the Chanel earrings and other jewelry duplicators try to use the same format as the original pieces.
